  Upper San Juan Water Quality Forum  
 

April 3-4, 2008

The purpose of the forum is to share information and discuss plans for improving basin-wide water quality. The forum will seek to meet the following objectives:

• Share knowledge about water quality and watershed organizations and agencies
• Facilitate flow of information
• Promote more efficient planning
• Reduce duplication and combine resources
• Identify stakeholders
• Generate interest from sponsors and potential sponsors
• Discuss watershed plans – existing and future
• Discuss Clean Water Act, Section 208 revision process

River Watch Training

 
  Tentatively August 5-7 in the front range

Tentatively October 21-24 on the west slope

This overnight event allows returning participants to broaden their knowledge of River Watch through sessions on data management and advanced stream ecology.  The introduction to River Watch for new participants include techniques to help bring River Watch home to your organization as well as an opportunity to explore non-traditional teaching methods to implement River Watch.
